IBPS CWE Clerks -VII Eligibility Criteria 2017-18

Educational Qualification

Graduation Degree: The eligibility criteria for the IBPS CWE Clerks -VII exam is as basic as a graduation degree (BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech or as such) in any discipline from a recognized University by the Government of India. Any such candidate who has received equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government is also eligible to apply for this exam.

The candidates must be in possession of a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that certifies that they are a graduate on the day they register for this exam and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering for the IBPS Bank-PO examination.

Computer Literacy: Working knowledge of computer systems is necessary for the job as well as to give the IBPS PO exam which is conducted in online mode.

Language Proficiency: Verbal and written proficiency in official language of the State/UT is desirable. The candidate must be able to read, write and speak the language.

Age Limit of candidates applying for IBPS CWE Clerks -VII Examination:

Any candidate who is applying for the IBPS CWE Clerks -VII examination should not be less than 20 years old and not more than 28 years old at the time of registration. In addition to this, there is age relaxation applicable to category wise candidates as per the government rules:

Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants:

A candidate applying for IBPS CWE Clerks -VII/Bank PO Examination must be one of the following:

1. Citizen of India

2. Subject of Nepal or Bhutan

3. Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement

4. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who have migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India

Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favor.

IBPS IBPS CWE Clerks -VII Exam Centre

The IBPS IBPS CWE Clerks -VII exam is conducted online at numerous centers all over India and the candidate can mention their preferences at the time of filling in the online application. However, if there is non-availability of seats at preferred venues, IBPS may allot an exam center other than the choices made by a candidate. IBPS is the sole authority on adding or removing an exam center and candidates can’t make requests for change in the exam center. Any inappropriate behavior at the exam center can lead to cancellation of the candidature.

PRE-EXAMINATION TRAINING

Pre-Examination Training may be arranged by the Nodal Banks/ Participating Organisations to a limited number of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities/ Ex Servicemen/ Persons With Benchmark Disabilities at certain centers viz. Agartala, Agra, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Amritsar, Aurangabad, Balasore, Bareilly, Behrampur (Ganjam), Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Dhanbad, Gorakhpur, Gulbarga, Guwahati, Hubli, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Karnal, Kavaratti, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Madurai, Mangalore, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Mysore, Nagpur, New Delhi, Panaji (Goa), Patiala, Patna, Port Blair, Puducherry, Pune, Raipur, Rajkot, Ranchi, Rohtak, Sambalpur, Shimla, Shillong, Siliguri, Thiruchirapalli, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Vadodara, Varanasi, Vijayawada and Vishakhapatnam.

All eligible candidates who opt for and wish to avail of Pre-Examination Training should fill in the relevant column in the ON-LINE APPLICATION. While training will be imparted free of cost, all other expenses regarding travelling, boarding, lodging etc. will have to be borne by the candidate for attending the pre-examination training programme at the designated Centres. Depending on the response and administrative feasibility the right to cancel any of the Pre- Examination Training Centres and/ or add some other Centres and/or make alternate arrangements is reserved.

By merely attending the Pre-Examination Training no candidate acquires any right to be selected in any of the participating Organisations mentioned.

IBPS IBPS CWE Clerks -VII Exam Pattern

As in the previous years, the IBPS CWE Clerks -VII exam for hiring candidates will be based on an online written exam in two parts: Tier 1 or IBPS Preliminary Exam and Tier 2 or IBPS Mains Exam.

IBPS CWE Clerks -VII Prelims Exam Pattern

The IBPS CWE Clerks -VII preliminary examination has a total duration of 1 hour and is conducted in online mode. It consists of 3 sections with a total of 100 questions and the maximum score of 100 marks. There is negative marking in IBPS CWE Clerks -VII pre exam and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates must clear the cut-off in all 3 sections to qualify for the IBPS CWE Clerks -VII Main exam. The section-wise details are given below:

IBPS CWE Clerks -VII Mains Exam Pattern

The IBPO CWE Clerks -VII Main exam is also conducted online, it has 4 sections with a total score of 200 marks and total duration of 160 minutes. IBPS has introduced a descriptive paper in its mains exam for selection of candidates for the post of CWE Clerks -VII. From this year onward, there has been a modification in the IBPS main exam pattern. While IBPS exam will have the same 4 sections, there is a specific time limit for attempting each of the five sections. The sections must be attempted in the same order and the allotted time as mandated at the time of the exam.

IBPS CWE Clerks -VII Mains Exam Syllabus 2017

This comprises of 4 sections: Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative, Aptitude, General Awareness, Computer Aptitude.

IBPS CWE Clerks -VII 2017 Results

IBPS will release the results in after completion of each Phase of Examination.The Final Merit state wise and category wise List shall be prepared in descending order of the marks secured by the candidates in the Online Main Examination. Candidates who fall within the number of vacancies in the merit list shall be considered for appointment subject to Medical Fitness.

List of Documents to be produced at the time of joining

The following documents in original and self-attested photocopies in support of the candidate’s eligibility and identity are to be invariably submitted at the time of joining.

  1. Valid system generated a printout of the online application form registered for CWE Clerks-VIIP
  2. Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Municipal Authorities or SSLC/ Std. X Certificate with DOB)
  3. Photo Identify Proof as indicated in Point F of the advertisement
  4. Mark-sheets & certificates for Graduation or equivalent qualification etc. Proper document from Board / University for having declared the result on or before 03.10.2017 has to be submitted.
  5. Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority as stipulated by Government of India in the case of SC / ST / OBC category candidates.

How To Apply IBPS CWE Clerks -VII Recruitment 2017

Candidates can apply online only from 12.09.2017 to 03.10.2017 and no other mode of application will be accepted.

Before applying online, candidates should –

(i) Scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm) and signature adhere to the required specifications as given in Annexure III to this Advertisement.
(ii) Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.
(iii) keep the necessary details/documents ready to make Online Payment of the requisite application fee/ intimation charges
(iv) have a valid personal email ID, which should be kept active till the completion of this round of Common Recruitment Process. IBPS may send call letters for the Examination etc. through the registered e-mail ID.

Procedure for applying online

  1. Candidates are first required to go to the IBPS’s website www.ibps.in and
  2. Click on the Home Page to open the link “CWE Clerks” and
  3. Then click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CWE- Clerks (CWE-Clerks-VII)” to open the On-Line Application Form.
  4. Candidates will have to click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register their application by entering their basic information in the online application form.
  5. After that, a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional registration number and password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
  6. They can reopen the saved data using Provisional registration number and password and edit the particulars if needed.
  7. Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications are given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature (Annexure III).
  8. clicking on FINAL SUBMIT Button
  9. The candidate should indicate in the online application the state to which he/she opts for provisional allotment on selection. The option once exercised will be irrevocable

Note: Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application themselves as no change in any of the data filled in the online application will be possible/ entertained. Prior to submission of the online application, candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. No change is permitted after clicking on FINAL SUBMIT Button. Visually Impaired candidates are responsible for carefully verifying/ getting the details filled in, in the online application form properly verified and ensuring that the same are correct prior to submission as no change is possible after submission.
